Cornwall Regional Airport
Cornwall Regional Airport is located 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi) northeast of Cornwall. The airport has a single 3,510 ft × 100 ft paved runway oriented east-west.
The facilities include an airport commission hangar, general aviation lots and parking sites.
The airport is open year round and is designated as an Airport of Entry for customs services for up to 15-seat passenger aircrafts. It is also a CANPASS airport.
Fuel is provided on a self-service basis 24 hours a day. Two types of fuel are available:
- Aviation Gas (100 LL)
- Jet Fuel
All grades of aviation oil are also available.
The airport is operated by the Cornwall Regional Airport Commission, which is jointly funded by the City of Cornwall and Township of North Glengarry.
The Commission also leases a 3,000 sq.ft. commercial hangar and provides a limited number of tie-down facilities. The airport is also home to over 15 privately-held aircraft hangars, primarily used by recreational pilots.
The construction of an additional fuel tank to supply jet fuel was completed in 2016. A runway expansion to 5,000 feet is currently being considered.
