Cornwall Ad Debuts in Ottawa Life Magazine
“This is our Cornwall.”
That is the theme of the new advertising campaign aimed at attracting new residents to Cornwall.
Readers of the May/June issue of Ottawa Life magazine will see the new ad, prominently located on the back cover of the popular magazine. The issue features an exclusive interview with Laureen Harper, the wife of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
“Mrs. Harper does not do magazine interviews but has agreed to do one with Ottawa Life Magazine and we are very pleased to have secured this exclusive,” says Dan Donovan. “This issue is going to be especially popular and we have published more than our normal run of magazines. It will be widely read and therefore offers great exposure to our advertisers.”
Ottawa Life Magazine is the national capital region's largest and longest running general interest and lifestyles magazine. It has a reach of over 220,000 people and is available for purchase at over 500 newsstands in national capital region and at major newsstands across Canada. Ottawa Life Magazine is also carried as an insert in The Globe & Mail to all Globe subscribers in the National Capital and Eastern Ontario Region.
“We will be increasing our efforts in the next few weeks to attract new residents to Cornwall,” says Bob Peters, Senior Development Officer. “We have a great community, with affordable housing and new jobs on the horizon. The ad invites Ottawa Life readers to take a closer look at Cornwall.”
Recently, Ottawa Life featured two Cornwall music acts on the magazine’s online home at www.OttawaLife.com. Both acts, The Shiners and Gypsy, have recently released new albums.
“There is some great music coming out of Cornwall... we’re happy to help promote the area’s arts and culture scene,” says Mr. Donovan.
The May/June issue of Ottawa Life will be available at newsstands on May 10, 2012.
