Sigmapoint Receives Boost from Province
The Government of Ontario is investing $289,695 in SigmaPoint Technologies to offset part of a $2 million expansion that will create at least 10 new jobs and help train current employees in new technology.
Sigmapoint will be purchasing new equipment that will help it improve its testing methodologies, as well as equipment to add more flexibility to its manufacturing processes.

Sigmapoint President Dan Bergeron explains the new equipment purchases to Sigmapoint staff prior to the EODF funding announcement.
"This project will help us improve our efficiency and eliminate wastes in our manufacturing, which will decrease the lead-time of product through our facility", said Sigmapoint President Dan Bergeron. "The projecct will help our partner OEMs improve their time to market, thus making them more attractive/competitive compared with off-shore solutions."
