Vagabond Theatre puts on two productions per year with a focus on Canadian plays with attention to St. Lawrence Valley playwrights.
Aultsville Theatre is a beautiful, 680 seat venue that features many professional touring artists throughout the year. It is also available for use by local amateur groups and community organizations. The Lion's Club Bandshell in Lamoureux Park in Cornwall features Summer Arts in the Park. Events include premier performances, puppets and poetry, Shakespeare and musical interludes which showcase local artists, international touring companies, musicians and writers.
The Arts and Culture Office, of the Department of Planning, Parks & Recreation is an umbrella organization that is associated with over 65 local organizations. The office offers information on cultural activities and direct programming, in the form of the Leisure Arts Program, the March Break Madness Program, Arts in the Park at the Bandshell in Lamoureux Park, the Summer Playground Program, and the Kinsmen Music Day Camp. www.Cornwall.ca
